As coronavirus continues to linger, more organisations are recognising the need to either cancel or postpone programs. Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) has joined the circuit as it officially postpones the sixth edition of its entrepreneurship program and the TEF Forum until 2021.
A lot of its 2020 candidates were disappointed at the news, however, they also agree with the idea.
While this is the case, TEF is offering free training on TEFConnect for entrepreneurs and start-ups. The foundation is also offering to disburse coronavirus related information for the health and safety of all Africans.

Application for the TEF 2020 entrepreneurship program ran from 1 January to 31 March. Candidates whose applications were successful in 2020 will not have to apply anymore in 2021. But applicants that were declined can reapply next year.
Every year the foundation empowers at least 1000 entrepreneurs out of over 200 000 applicants from around Africa.
