Not everyone follows the news and sometimes there are those that need help to understand what’s on the news especially the aged people. With this understanding, Niyi Akinmolayan made a voiceover in local Nigerian languages with Kurzgesagt videos on coronavirus.

The film director made a similar video with three different languages, Igbo, Yoruba and Pidgin. The voices describe how the coronavirus is spread, who is more at risk and how to stay safe.

He also shares his thought below video. He said, “most information and awareness on the coronavirus is in English and a huge number of our population can’t understand”. It is with this highlight that he also requests that the message be shared. Watch the video and share with people who might have a hard time understanding or reading about coronavirus.

Niyi Akinmolayan also said he could not get in touch with a Hausa person immediately. Hopefully, the Hausa version of the coronavirus message will be available soon.
