Check NIN On Phone For All Network To Avoid Blockage

Check NIN

It is possible to check the National Identification Number NIN just by dialing a USSD code on phone.

The National Identity Management Commission, NCC has asked all Nigerian to dial *346# to retrieve their NIN number.

This follows the commission instructions to all subscribers to update their SIM records with a valid National Identification Number (NIN). The commission has also placed two weeks deadline on the instruction.

All network including MTN, Airtel, 9mobile and Glo enable the use of the code *346#. This is part of the new measure introduced by the NCC for all mobile phone users.

For those who are yet to get a NIN, visit the NIMC portal at https://penrol.nimc.gov.ng/loginForm.tpl.html.php and fill the enrolment form.

Filling the NIMC form for NIN

The NIMC registration portal requires one to create a user name. It is the first step that anyone would encounter before they are able to download the form.

Simply create an account, confirm the account and then proceed to get a National Identification Number, NIN, which is free.

The form is to be filled and returned to nearest NIMC Registration Centre with a valid identification document.

The enrolment officers will validate all application at the center before applicants will proceed to providing biometrics and other data.

It would normally take three working days to process a NIN and deliver to applicants. However, with the NCC deadline for mobile network users, this timeframe could increase.
