FG Nigeria To Give $18 Million To State Government Who Publish Budget

The Nigerian state government have been told to by the budget office of the federation to publish their 2021 annual budget if they want to qualify for an $18 million grant under the SFTAS program.

The SFTAS is supported by the World Bank and the deadline for the offer is January 31, 2021.

According to the announcement by Budget IT Nigeria, “to get the total $18 million, there are multiple Disbursement Linked Results (DLRs) all 36 states must achieve.”

Aside from the budget, there are other results and data that states must publish. However, failing to publish their annual budget disqualifies a state.
