Air France KLM Evacuates Europeans in Nigeria, Other Countries in Africa

Entry into Nigeria and most African countries have been shut down to cut down the rate of coronavirus spread on the continent. With permission, Air France KLM was allowed on 26 Thursday to evacuate Europeans in Nigeria and other West African countries.

Sources from the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) said that an Air France KLM flight which was travelling from Cotonou was in Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos to evacuate Europeans from Nigeria.

118 passengers were already on board and 260 more got on when they arrived in Lagos on Thursday. The flight headed to Paris with 380 passengers on board the same day.

The airline has at least one week to complete evacuation of Europeans from Nigeria. Europeans in and around the West Coast are also been evacuated with the same procedure.
