Registration on the SMEDAN website is easy and if it is challenging now, then there is a need to try some new steps.

The website is probably clogged with traffic now and some people are experiencing being blocked out. A quick fix for some of these problems is to try a different device.

Many people who need the SMEDAN identification number (SUIN) and certificate for different funding applications are having difficulties as they are not getting emails after filling the application.

To deal with the situation differently, try calling the SMEDAN office if you haven’t received an email yet to get your identification number. SMEDAN has an office in Port Harcourt where they can still serve MSMEs who come to them straight for registration.

The SMEDAN certificate could be obtained later on but it is important to access the SMEDAN number after applying.

SMEDAN Registration

The SMEDAN registration program promises an electronic certificate that bears a SMEDAN Unique Identification Number (SUIN). Follow instructions and try again for SMEDAN registration and to get an identification number and business certificate.

  • Go to the https://smedan.gov.ng/
  • Choose the box that suits your needs – SME Tool KIt, SME Digital Academy, MSME Mass Registration, CIP, Survival Funds, BOA-SMEDAN Matching Project.
  • It will redirect to a page where to register for any of these programmes.
  • You will receive an email shortly confirming registration.

The SMEDAN is growing its database of MSMEs in Nigeria which will further provide the agency with a track for funding and financial empowerment as well as entrepreneurship training programs.

Call the SMEDAN customer care to get the certificate on a later date.
