First batch of AstraZeneca COVID-19 Vaccine arrives in Nigeria

AstraZeneca/Oxford COVID-19 Vaccine has arrived in Nigeria.

Nigeria has received its first batch of NAFDAC-approved AstraZeneca/Oxford vaccines at exactly noon on Tuesday.

The current batch of COVID-19 vaccine in Nigeria is 4 million doses as the Chairman of the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19, Boss Mustapha, said. The PTF will announce the arrival of the remaining 12 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine at a later date.
