Less than a day ago, Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari relaxed the lockdown in foremost coronavirus states in the country. The President Buhari has now received a support guarantee from the US President, Donald Trump during a phone conversation today.
Their discussion was based on the efforts to defeat the COVID–19 pandemic during which President Trump pledged US support and solidarity.
COVID-19 cases in Nigeria rose to 1337 on Monday, and 40 people have died from the disease now.
