NIN Registration Process In Full, Closing Date And NIMC Guidelines

NIN NIMC Registration

There are a number of data related to the registration of the National Identity Number, NIN making it difficult to avoid a mix-up.

The Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC, made the NIN mandatory towards the end the year, provoking a rush. But the closing date has been extended for the efficiency of the enrollment. NIN registration is always on and subscribers have until February 19, 2021 to complete the process.

People who already have NIN can simply retrieve it with a USSD code. Name corrections and linking with sim card number are possible and so is the recovery of lost NIN slip which will cost N500.

Telecom registration centres provide NIN linking service – whether to one sim card or more. MTN provided a code – *785# – for its users to link the NIN with their sim cards.

Retrieval of NIN on phone using the *346# USSD is free.

Here is a precise look at the NIN enrolment process in Nigeria and the diaspora.
