The 2019 Batch “B” Stream 1 Corps Members will be passing out this Thursday, 28 May 2020 as announced by the management of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC. Here is the arrangement made by the management for 2019 NYSC Batch “B” members to pick up their discharge certificates.
The NYSC passing parade will not take place according to the announcement by the management.
“The event shall be devoid of the ceremonial parade as a result of the great threat and danger posed by the coronavirus which the entire globe has been battling”.
Qualified NYSC members of the Batch B 2019 are to visit the Local Government of their PPAs to pick up their Certificates of National Service (CNS).
NYSC Officers will be present to distribute the Batch “B” Discharge Certificates at the Local Government Councils. The distribution point, as well as the days, are spread out over a ten days period. This will allow for the observation of the COVID-19 protocol of social/physical distancing.
Inactivity is prolonged with coronavirus crises, leaving many Corps members absent from their place of primary assignments. Many of them are in restricted areas and have to wait to get their certificates. However, after two weeks of lifting the inter-state travel ban, they are to pick up theirs. Any certificate unclaimed at this time will return to the NYSC National Directorate Headquarters, Abuja
The management advises Corp members to stay in touch for further information.
