EndSARS Protest Leads To Looting Of Hidden COVID-19 Palliatives

EndSARS Protest

EndSARS protest has brought residents of Festac, Lagos to discover a facility supposedly containing COVID-19 palliatives.

Residents have been looting food items which they say was supposed to have been distributed to them in May.

In the middle of the lockdowns, the Lagos state government had issued funding and palliatives. However, many people say that they never received.

Arguably, the food items had tags on them “COVID-19, NOT FOR SALE”. If the End SARS protesters and residents are right, then what was the government waiting to distribute the food items?

Other residents say that the government had already put some people in charge of the palliative, but they locked resources up.

The EndSARS protest has gone on Nigeria for two weeks and is quickly unlocking some dangerous topics in the country. Protesters are also complaining of bad governance and expect the president to address them.

Nigerians all over the world have also matched to the EndSARS movement in their various countries of residence.

EndSARS protesters, as well as policemen, have died. Most of all, the End SARS protest is serving as an eye-opener to the government who are now asking for it to end.
