Nigerians are now coming out in their masses to protest the inhumanity and lawlessness of SARS and they want an end to it.
The Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) is a crime combat unit of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF). However, the unit has come under fire after several accusations grew on them for unethical and uncivil operations.
Sars practically operates on its own terms, without legislation justifying itself as a vice to illicit activities. They harass and kill young people in Nigeria for their the most trivial matters like lavish lifestyles.

An encounter with Sars operative almost often ends in infractions of human and civil rights. The Sars makes a show of barbarity for every time they are on patrols. They appear to take no responsibility for the killings and extortions of Nigerians who they arrest sometimes for unnamed offences.
End SARS
Nigerians have people have become afraid of living free as Sars officials mark any kind of social activities as illegal. They are now coming out in their masses to protest the lawlessness of SARS and they want it to end.
In responding to the chaos, the inspector-general of police, Mohammed Adamu made a promise to the Lagos youths to see that the Sars unit is reformed. However, the Lagos youths would rather have it differently – they want the unit to be dismissed.

The protests which even top TV personalities in Nigeria are a part of has already lasted 48 hours. It could another full day.
Sars operatives are currently on the grill by the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu who told the personnel of the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (FSARS) and other Tactical Squads of the Force to put all operations on hold.
The Lagos State House of Assembly has also taken up the issue to End Sars as by their promise to protesters who stormed the house on Wednesday.
