The closing date for the N-Power registration portal has been extended by the federal government. The portal which has now run for a month has over 5 million applications. The initial closing was a day ago on July 26.
The new closing date for the N-Power portal registration is August 8 at 12 pm as the FG intends to provide a chance for those who are yet to apply with the extension. This is according to a statement by Mrs Rhoda Ishaku Iliya, Deputy Director, information of N-Power. Noting that some people could have had difficulties gaining access to the registration portal.
Parts of her statement reads: “The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development state that the extension has become necessary to provide an equitable and level playing field to all eligible applicants”.
They have also said that they are reviewing the demands of the batch A & B N-Power applicant. They are going to address the payment issues soon.
