A small community in Warri, Delta state recently confirmed that a group of Chevron staffs returning from outside the country is quarantined in a hotel nearby.

SaharaReporters made it clear that they are over 100 employees and are suspected of having Coronavirus.

To further prove it, they also named the hotel where the Chevron employees are staying. They are said to be at the Cyprian Hotels and Suites in Warri, Delta State.

Last month Esimaje Brikinn, General Manager, Policy, Government and Public Affairs said that Chevron is actively responding to the coronavirus outbreak. They put up preventive measure including temperature checks.

Residents who were approached expressed concerns and said that they live in fear. The hotel staff are also at risk after being asked to resume so as to attend to the Chevron employees. The hotel owner Chief Cyprian Onephrojire, however, denies all the claim.
