Ajimobi Dead: Details Around The Death Of Ex-Oyo Governor

Former Oyo State governor, Abiola Ajimobi, is dead.

Ajimobi who slipped into a deep coma about a week ago finally gave up despite being on life support. He died at the First Cardiology Hospital in Ikoyi, Lagos where he has been since he contracted the coronavirus earlier this month.

A number of reports had come from his illness including the fact that his condition was worsened from defiance to treatment. A lung surgery was also carried out on Ajimobi during his illness, his kidneys failed nevertheless.

Doctors had confirmed to the family of Ajimobi that he did not look hopeful in life support.

Ajimobi is the second to politician to be pronounced dead at the First Cardiology Hospital. Abba Kyari, the late Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari died in the same hospital.
