Nigeria’s Monetary Policy Rate Remains At 11.5% – CBN

CBN Monetary Policy Rate

Nigeria’s Monetary Policy rate remains at 11.5% as declared by the governor of the CBN, Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, during a last 2020 meeting with the committee.

The benchmark lending rate of 11.5% will further spur the country’s economy and drive all sectors.

The lending rate was cut by the CBN by 100 basis points twice in 2020 – the first in May and the last one in September.

  • MPR – 11.50%
  • Cash Reserve Ratio – 27.5%
  • Liquid Ratio – 30%
