New Visa policy in Nigeria this October

The FG in Nigeria is introducing new visa fees and the February 4 policy starting October 1. It had previously placed emphasis on reciprocity when it barred certain airlines from operating in its airspace. This is the basis of the new visa policy and fees.

The Comptroller General of Nigeria Immigration Service, Muhammad Babandede, MFR, wishes to inform the general public and the international community of the new visa fees approved by the Honorable Minister of

Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, which is based on the principles of reciprocity.

As the statement which the Comptroller General of Nigeria Immigration Service, Muhammad Babandede, MFR says, full details of the new visa fees for all countries and category of applicants is available on www.immigration.gov.ng.

Furthermore, the Comptroller General said that the implementation of the Nigeria Visa Policy 2020 (NVP 2020), launched on the 4th February 2020, by President Muhammadu Buhari is commencing. Both the new policy and visa fees in Nigeria will possibly commence on the same day, October 1, 2020.
