E-money is an unusual choice of nickname. It is, however, acceptable if the bearer like Emeka Okonkwo, head of Five Star Music Boss wants for people to address him that way. E-money coincidentally became the moniker of yet another man Collins Ezenwa. Just like Emeka Okonkwo – wealthy, young and full of life, however, dirty.

In 2018, Collins Ezenwa, a former police officer and a criminal mastermind was killed in a police shootout. Words spread quickly that he was a kidnapper and all sorts of similar narratives.

Before the criminal boss surfaced, Emeka Okonkwo has always been popular in the entertainment industry in Nigeria as E-money.

Emeka Okonkwo is also the younger brother to Nigeria singer KCee and the CEO of Five Star Music. Aside from his brother KCee, his record label is associated with several artists.

There are many reasons for Emeka Okonkwo to drop the name E-money now and the case of the kidnapper is a good one. But Emeka Okonkwo could be losing a lot from a simple name change.

It is his stage name and everything that he is in entertainment.

Also, now that the kidnapper is dead, Emeka Okonkwo can safely keep the name, E-money without anyone mistaking him for the criminal. That was the most dreadful part of having the name and the best reason for him to keep the name, respectively.
