U.S Universities Seek Teachers For Nigerian Languages – Yoruba, Hausa, Not Igbo

The Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Mission Nigeria invites applications from qualified Nigerians wishing to teach Nigerian languages and cultures to American students in U.S. universities and colleges. The message did mention Yoruba and Hausa languages but not Igbo.

The FLTA program is designed to offer young foreign teachers an opportunity to teach Yoruba language and culture to American students in universities and colleges. 

The Fulbright Program is the U.S. Department of State’s flagship international education and exchange program.
