Brisk Capital Nigeria involved in investment fraud.
A conventional investment company in Nigeria Brisk Capital Limited has become involved in a N2bn fraud.
The head of the firm, 21-year-old Dominic Joshua Ngene was accused and arrested by the Special Fraud Unit (SFU) of the police in Lagos for the diversion of N2bn collected from hundreds of investors
SFU backs its arrest with appeals from investors as well as intelligence collected on bank records and other financial activities of the firm.
Brisk Capital had operations in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital and promised a 60% monthly Return on Investment (ROI) on every investment on real estate, forex, oil and gas.
With the help of social media – Instagram, Facebook and Linkedin – Ngene played a major role in attracting victims.

Under the guise of a financial investor and fund manager for reputable companies, Brisk also made newspaper publications to con victims to invest in its scheme according to a police statement.
The police have said that Ngene admitted to diverting over 500 investors’ funds amounting to about N2bn. He is, however, asking for time to refund to investors.
Some of the properties acquired with the diverted funds are now in police custody. They will serve as evidence for an upcoming indictment.
