Dr Cyprian apparently lost his father to COVID-19. During his speech, he said that “if only my dad had gotten the vaccine, but we lost him”. He said the fight is still on and we will win.
He got a vaccination card with a QR code which will be scanned details of the vaccine and the person displays on the screen and how many doses he got.
The vaccine card was an idea of the presidential task force according to Dr Faisal.
Dr Saheel Unisa from the Gwagwalada isolation centre where over 10,000 COVID-19 patients made full recovery was the next to take the vaccine.
Vaccination will continue for frontliners.
