The lasting effects of COVID-19 pandemic continue as it drives more music artists to do live concerts online like the Africa Day Fundraiser Concert. The concert is hosted by Idris Elba and airing live on the MTV Base Africa Youtube Channel.
It is a celebration of the 57th Africa Day by ViacomCBS Networks Africa and YouTube which they call “Africa Day Benefit Concert At Home”.

They are also using the medium to raise fund, alongside the World Food Programme and UNICEF to support food and health needs for children and families in Africa affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
