Earlier today, the presidency received at the State House, Abuja the Awardees of the National Order of Productivity. Among those hosted by President Buhari is the Chairman of Heirs Holdings and founder TEF Foundation, Tony .O Elumelu.
President Buhari pointed out the importance of the National Productivity of Merit award category during the time they spent. He said it ranks “highest on the list of the order of merits conferred by the Federal Government of Nigeria on its Citizens”.
He further stated that the awardees are to be emulated “for their immense contribution to the development of Nigeria”.
The Honourable Minister of Labour and Employment Chris Ngige who was also present commended the role of the TEF foundation in job creation. This category was created to award the likes of Tony Elumelu, Aliko Dangote, Oba Otudeko who are pioneering job creation.
