Nigeria reaffirms belief in youth for its digital economy

Delegates and key figures of Nigeria’s tech and digital industry led by the Federal Minister of Communications and Digital Economy of Nigeria, Isa Ali Pantami were hosted at Gulf Information Technology Exhibition, GITEX, 2020.

Pantami, as well as a team of the National Information Technology Development Agency, NITDA, helmed Nigeria’s pavilion and presence at the GITEX 2020.

Pantami was also a major speaker at the event who gave a remark of youth attraction to the digital economy.

With a post-pandemic term in view, the GITEX 2020 offers over several countries a practical platform for recovery.

Along with other African nations at its 2020 GITEX Africa Investment Forum, AIF, Nigeria utilizes the options available to uncover its key tech aims. The tech startups community in Nigeria was projected by the NITDA who is adept in the digital technology movement.

The NITDA continues to offer support to youth entrepreneurship, hence its sponsorship of startups to the GITEX 2020.

Nigeria is steering its way through the pandemic to override a recession and keep the economy going. Hence reaffirming strong digital economy policies at the GITEX 2020 and belief in its youth.

The NITDA affixes the country’s economic recovery among the non-oil sector and granted by the outputs from tech environment.
