A New Perspective
Tech is not exactly a trademark of Africa, there are other countries that take pride in launching new technology every now and then. It is, however, one of those tasks that the continent did not waste any time to jump on. They are now breeding a new bath of youths who are savvy in the field and this is a good thing.
In the next years, Africa is expected to have covered grounds and possibly make certain tech courses a trademark.
Rwanda is currently the tech capital of Africa, Lagos is following rapidly, and a multitude of youths in Africa are showing interest in tech daily.
African startups and SMEs are focusing more on tech courses like blockchain technology, waste management and recycling technologies.
Tech forums are so many and every African child who has an interest in tech or seeking a path can be accommodated. In order to pursue their visions in tech, many located and pitched into the benefits of joining forums and groups, attending tech conferences and meetings.
Young people are investing time in these activities and it is saving the world a whole lot. Young entrepreneurs in Africa have risen from such forums. Some have received funding for their tech endeavours from non-profit organisations.
More on SMEs, non-profit foundations and organisations, tech summits, tech conferences around Africa are on Africareinvented.
