President Buhari today addressed Nigerians on how to ease the lockdown and provided new lockdown measures to resume activities soon.
His noted in his statement that “our goal was to develop implementable policies that will ensure that our economy continues to function…”

Starting 4 Monday, May, the president approved a gradual to easing of the lockdown in Lagos, Ogun and the FC.
Some of the new measures to ease the lockdown which president Buhari gave during his speech include:
Overnight curfew beginning 8 pm to 6 am and a ban on interstate travel until further notice. Controlled interstate movement of goods and services from producers to consumers is allowed.
Mandatory use of face mask in public.
Restriction of religious and social gathering will remain in place.
Meanwhile, current lockdown orders in FCT, Lagos and Ogun states remains until the named date.
Border closures he noted yielded positives results and therefore land border arrivals protocols will continue.
