A lot of researches to understand coronavirus is ongoing and results are released almost daily. There is a chance that people have had coronavirus without showing any symptoms as one report shows. They could have also spread it without knowing.
More than one research confirmed this to be true and it offers some hope that the lethality of the virus is much less than initially thought.
Almost all known cases of the coronavirus have flu-like illnesses as medical official officials report. Additionally, a new report says that some patients have lesions that look like chickenpox under their feet. A silent symptom or none is now more evidential than in the beginning when tests first suggested it.
The U.S and a number of countries in Europe have reported having such cases. More so, scientists in Iceland sought to prove it by testing an entire 6% of its population for infections that are undetected. The tests came back positive for about 0.7% and 13% of the high-risk group.
Testing pregnant women who come in for delivery in a New York hospital yielded nearly a 14% positive result of asymptomatic coronavirus patients.
The Diamond Princess cruise passengers and crew also proved that it is possible to test positive for coronavirus without symptoms.
