Many Nigerians aren’t using the i-safe app and payment portal or hardly even knows how to use any. The payment portal is pretty easy to use and so is the i-safe app. Simply follow this step to step guide on how to use it. The Ikeja Electric i-safe app is a real-time report that will help the company identify a safety hazard before they cause any damages.

  • Go to Google play store on your android – Open the play store and search for Ikeja i-safe app. Click on the download button. It will take a few seconds to finish the download and it depends on internet speed. This app is only available to android users now.

  • Register – It is necessary to enter personal details as it might be impossible to use the app without entering name and location.
  • Allow Access to the device – A prompt will pop up asking to Allow I-Safe to access location, photos, media and files on the device. Punch ‘Allow’.
  • Take photos and enter a short description – After allowing access, the device camera opens and you can either select an existing photo of the hazard or just take a new photo and click upload. Back to the main interface, write a short description for the photo you have just uploaded. At least two photos are allowed and the steps are easier with the second photo.
