Coronavirus Update Nigeria (NBC News)

Things are a bit insane in Europe and the W.H.O has just declared it the epicentre of coronavirus. Down in Africa, we can tell that it is different with people still moving about their daily lives easily. Streets are covered with people who snack with fingers freely without bothering for a face mask (though experts caution against it). This is something that can not easily be seen in Europe now. Follow the coronavirus situation reports and updates from Nigeria.

Coronavirus Updates From Nigeria

Africa surely isn’t agitated and maybe they should, maybe they shouldn’t, either way, coronavirus is slow to spread in Africa.

The honourable Minister of Health Dr E. Osagie Ehanire has today cleared the index case in Nigeria for discharge soon. All contacts of the index case are also free to rejoin society and go back to their normal lives. For the past weeks, there have been far fewer reports on Nigeria than as been reported in South Afric and Egypt.

No new cases in Nigeria after the index case and the one more. Also, no deaths as reported by the NCDC COVID-19 websites.
