While anticipating the launch of 5G iPhone, a new version of iPhone SE has been announced by Apple. The company appears to be having a different year in sales than it previous where it sold huge numbers of high-priced smartphones like the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro Max.

The iPhone SE has an original version which was introduced in 2016 with a price tag of $399, the same price as the new version.

The new iPhone SE comes with slightly different features as well as a Retina HD display, 4K video, a home button that enables TouchID. It is as small as 4.7 inches and will carry the 11 Pro processor. Its battery life is the same as the iPhone 8 and it is available in white, black and red.

Current iPhone models which are bigger in size models could lure users away from the iPhone SE new version. But Apple also intends to target new customers with the low price and new features of the phone. Pre-order is open from Friday.
